2nd Semester!

Week have finished the first semester of first grade! I am very proud of everyone's progress so far. The second half of the year will be spent preparing your children for second grade. This means higher expectations in all areas... behavior, work ethics, penmanship, reading fluency, and mastering math! I will not be providing as much assistance when completing assignments... the children need to become more independent and complete assignments on their own. Their grades may drop a little initially but then should return to their normal level as they adjust to being more independent. I know they can do it!! Please feel free to schedule a conference if you have any concerns about your child's progress.
